Pickleball has been around since the 1960s, but only in the last decade or so has it gone viral. As per the Sports and Fitness Industry Association, the largest age demographic is 65 and older, but the 35 to 44 age group is close behind. The sport continues to grow in popularity, and more younger players are joining the sport, which is evident by professional players in their teens and twenties dominating it.
